Senior Financial Accountant

​Reporting to the Financial Controller, the Senior Financial Accountant is part of the Finance team providing support to the Financial Controller, CFO and other members of their team.

Responsibilities

• Preparation of month end financial accounting GL close process.

• Completion of GL and system reconciliations.

• Preparation of month end management accounts and reports, to include analysis of monthly variances & investigation of trends

• Assist with annual and three-year budgeting & forecasting

• Business partner with various departments and key internal stakeholders

• Lead the preparation of annual financial statements under IFRS, supporting internal & external audit queries

• Provide ad hoc financial analysis for senior management and the Board

• Prepare VAT returns and filings,

• Oversee monthly payroll run, invoice processing and expense bookings

Experience

• Qualified accountant with a minimum of 4 years’ PQE Experience in Financial Services Industry and/or an accounting function.

• Strong attention to detail and strong analytical skills.

• Superior interpersonal and communication skills, an effective team player with ability to interact with stakeholders at all levels of the organisation.

• Strong MS office skills

• Effective team player but with the ability to work on ones own initiative
