The Differentiation

The EMPOWERMENT business model differs from most mainstream recruitment companies as our business is low-volume, high-value focused as opposed to high-volume, low-value. In essence this means that EMPOWERMENT is very selective about who it recommends to clients for interview.

This approach has two key advantages for candidates and companies: There is an implicit quality guarantee that candidates we represent will have both the right technical skills and as importantly, be the appropriate cultural fit.

This approach saves busy HR and Finance Directors time (and consequently money) as they do not have to waste their time reviewing inappropriate resumes and meeting unsuitable candidates. In turn those candidates we do recommend will be taken seriously by our clients.

Executive Search

In simple terms Executive Search allows us to identify candidates who meet very specific requirements for senior and/or specialised positions, who may not be contemplating a career change and will, therefore, only respond to a direct approach through our industry knowledge and research capability. We combine a dedicated, specialist research function with the expertise of our experienced search consultants to provide a first rate executive search recruitment solution.

We utilise all available media streams to best promote our clients position, this includes national and foreign media, online and print, LinkedIn and mobile applications. We use our market knowledge to best advise our clients of the most efficient and cost effective manner of advertising for their open position, depend on its level and target market.


Advertised Search

Advertised Search involves placing a well written advertisement promoting your career opportunity in a national newspaper, select business journal and/or on-line forum. This approach has a strong historical record for attracting the best candidate’s in the marketplace especially amongst more senior candidates who may not be actively looking but whose attention is caught by an exciting opportunity. The advertisements can be branded or the client’s details can be kept confidential.

Contigent Search

Contingent Recruitment involves a search of the existing recruitment database on behalf of a client for a specific role(s). A recruitment fee is contingent (payable) only on sourcing a suitably qualified professional for the role in question. Given the specialist nature of the EMPOWERMENT Financial Recruitment business model and our thorough candidate screening, our database is very focused and limited to Grade B+/A candidates within the finance field. In essence our database only contains candidates that we would be happy to recommend to employers. Unlike some larger recruitment firms who may have tens of thousands of average resumes across on their database, we have a good working knowledge of each candidate we represent and what their strengths and areas for development are.
