Property Finance Manager

​EMPOWERMENT have partnered with a well-established, high value adding property company in Dublin City Centre to help them source a high calibre Finance Manager.

Our client has an excellent reputation in the marketplace covering all aspects of property in Ireland. Reporting to a supportive Finance Director, you will become a key member of a close-knit, finance team and will be given a hybrid of duties to undertake enabling full exposure to the company’s operations.

The Role:

• Reporting - Preparation of all Financial and Monthly Management Accounts including commentary

• Budgeting and Forecasting and cash flows

• Quarterly compliance reporting and annual RTD reporting

• Manage annual audits for the group

• Liaise with financial and lending institutions and suppliers

• Commercial – Supporting the Senior Management Team with commercial decisions and new business appraisal.

• Controls - Management of key internal controls designed e.g. debtors, creditors, bank reconciliations to safeguard the company assets.

• IT & Systems – Maintaining, refining and creating efficient reporting systems.

• Other - Identifying and implementing initiatives to deliver process efficiencies and improvements

• Ad hoc project work and accounting projects to support the Finance Director as required.

• Identify growth opportunities

The Person:

• Qualified Chartered Accountant (ACA, ACCA) with circa 5 years PQE.

• Experience in property development, construction, or funds desirable.

• Highly numerate and analytical with strong attention to detail.

• Comfortable working in a small, high performance team and environment.

• Clear concise, communicator who is confident and credible dealing with a range of stakeholders including shareholders, financial institutions, lawyers, auditors, contractors.

• A problem solver who is able to work under their own initiative.
