Senior Tax Manager

​EMPOWERMENT is working with a world leading organisation in Dublin who is seeking an experienced Senior Tax Manager (5+ years PQE) to join a highly motivated tax function.

The Role:  

·        Involvement in tax planning opportunities for the group

·        M&A – involvement in ad-hoc projects that arise

·        Partner with local teams to ensure compliance with corporation tax filing

·        Get familiar with legislative developments and new laws in various countries

·        Quarterly US GAAP reporting

·        Streamlining and improvement of processes

·        Liaising with other internal teams (indirect tax, transfer pricing, finance etc) when necessary

·        Managing and mentoring junior members on the team

 The Person: 

• Qualified Accountant and Chartered Tax Advisor (ACA, CTA)

• A Senior Tax Manager in a Big 4/Top 10 Firm or in a PLC/Multinational.

• Ideally corporate tax/international tax background.

• Excellent communication and organizational skills.

• Commercially focused

• Solid project management skills

• A people leader

• Strong work ethic & ambitious
