My client, a highly reputable international professional services firm, is seeking an ambitious Tax Senior Associate/Assistant Manager. Perhaps you are coming out of your training contract but would like to stay in practice. Not only will this opportunity give you have a change of scenery working with new tax professionals, but you will gain valuable exposure to a very interesting client portfolio. This team works with multinational and start-up companies investing in Ireland helping them deal with a wide range of Irish and international tax matters. The prime client sectors include software & technology, internet and media, pharmaceuticals, retail and consumer, and manufacturing.
The Role:
Work with some of the biggest brands in Irish and international business.
Manage and support tax compliance reviews as appropriate.
Provide advice to clients on tax planning opportunities and work with senior management in a variety of consultancy projects.
Manage billing and fee collection with a portfolio of clients.
Understand the impact of tax policy changes and transactions between countries.
Learn from some of the best tax professionals out there.
Excellent opportunity to progress, specialise and travel (including secondment opportunities).
The Person:
Chartered Tax Advisor (CTA) required.
ACA/ACCA desirable.
At least 3 years’ experience in tax consulting/compliance either from practice or industry.
Proven ability to work on a diverse range of clients across multiple sectors.
Strong technical competence.
Excellent organisational, communication and interpersonal skills.
