Deputy Head of Internal Audit

​EMPOWERMENT is delighted to partner with a highly reputable Irish firm, with international locations in more than 20 countries, to secure a talented Internal Audit Manager to join their growing team. Reporting directly to the Head of Internal Audit, this is an expansive role with excellent exposure across different market segments & departments.

Responsibilities:

• Partner with the Head of IA in preparing & updating the annual internal audit plan

• Deputise in the absence of the Head of IA, delivering presentations at Board & Audit Committee's

• Manage various internal audit assignments in the group, ensuring clear recommendations are made which provide solutions to bridge gaps

• Ad-hoc project work as required

Experience:

• Qualified Chartered Accountant, ideally CIIA affiliated, who trained in Big Four Accountancy Practice

• 5-10 years PQE with a number of those years in industry

• Proven experience in managing high performing teams, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deliver accordingly

• Superior communication and interpersonal skills

*Only candidates living in Dublin with Irish/EU passport will be considered for this position. Some travel will be required in this role (domestic & international) but will be no more than 2 days per month on average
