Investment Management Oversight Specialist

​A new position with a leading Investment Manager is presented for a talented candidate interested in working with multiple internal and external stakeholders, while interacting directly with portfolio managers. You will collaborate as part of a team in Dublin, of just under twenty people, who manage funds domiciled in Cayman & Ireland with AUM of more than $50bn,

Responsibilities

• Monitor and oversee the delegate investment managers in accordance with relevant regulations and guidance issued by the CBI

• Maintain an effective control framework, updating procedures to ensure and verify that the investment approach and strategy for each investment fund is complied with

• Review and analyse investment restrictions escalated by the delegated functions for funds under our management, until ultimate submission to regulators

• Ensure the availability of up-to-date information on portfolio performance, effectively review and challenge investment manager reports and monthly service provider reporting

• Coordinate the production of board meetings documents and quality review processes

• Ensure adequate initial and on-going due diligence is performed on delegate investment managers and assist with on-boarding new funds onto the platform

Experience:

• University degree in Finance, Economics, Business administration or numerical discipline

• Professional qualifications like CFA, CAIA is an advantage

• Good understanding of derivatives and financial instruments on different asset classes

• Good understanding of Irish UCITS and AIFMD rules and regulations

• Prior experience in fund management/portfolio management/oversight of delegate investment managers highly advantageous
