My client, a fast growing E-Money Institution regulated by the CBI, are seeking qualified and talented accountant to join their growing European team headquartered in Dublin and reporting to the Head of Finance.

Responsibilities:

  • Create and maintain detailed process documentation for all finance-related activities, ensuring strong internal controls.

  • Assess and review current finance processes including but not limited to, Accounts Payable, Management Accounts, and Budgeting, identifying gaps and recommending improvements.

  • Lead the process re-engineering efforts within the finance function to enhance operational efficiency and control.

  • Act as the business lead for the future ERP system implementation, providing guidance on financial processes and ensuring proper system integration & documentation.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that all finance processes align with company goals and regulatory requirements.

  • Provide ongoing support to the finance team for the implementation of new processes and maintain compliance with established control frameworks.

  • Assist with ad-hoc projects related to process improvement and financial transformation.

  • Other finance related activities as required

Experience:

  • Fully qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA).

  • Proven experience in process documentation and establishing control environments.

  • Strong expertise in Accounts Payable, Management Accounts, and Budgeting.

  • Demonstrated experience in process re-engineering within a finance function.

  • Experience in ERP system implementation is highly desirable.

  • Direct experience of MS Dynamics or Net Suite a distinct advantage

  • Very proficient in Excel with experience in Visual Basic

  • Willingness to travel to Europe when required (approx. 6 times per annum)

  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to manage cross-functional projects.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and a proactive approach.
