Senior Risk Manager (CF-2)

EMPOWERMENT is delighted to partner with a large Investment Manager who are seeking to expand their Risk group early in 2025. Joining a well established and highly-supported team, the ideal candidate will support the CRO in ensuring the risk management function is operating effectively, meeting all regulatory expectations and will be appointed CF-2.

Responsibilities:

• Perform risk reviews on the risk management and governance frameworks, including quarterly reporting to the Board

• Development of a strong risk management culture throughout the organisation, maintaining the risk management framework (policy/register/plan)

• Development of risk appetites to support strategy

• Support and manage ICARAP and ICAAP to include scenario development/modelling

Experience:

• Minimum of 8+ years specific risk management experience in an Investment/Asset Manager with strong knowledge of MiFID, AIFMD & UCITs regulations

• Proven experience with respect to RCSA's, DORA & third-party risk

• Superior communication skills, both written and verbal

• Demonstrable ability to interact with partners at all levels of an organisation
