Treasury Accounting Manager

​EMPOWERMENT is delighted to partner with a growing regulated EMI who are seeking a Talented Treasury Accounting Manager to join their team. The role is broad and covers liquidity management, settlements and various finance aspects such as AR & monthly accounts preparation.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily settlement flows and ensure safeguarding compliance

• Manage daily funding and liquidity positions across various accounts

• Prepare daily, monthly, and quarterly cash flow forecasts and liquidity reports

• Assist with monthly management account preparation

• Support AP ensuring timely payment runs

• Conduct variance analysis relating to various charges and income lines

Experience:

• Qualified Accountant with at least three years' experience in a treasury/accounting function

• Understanding of safeguarding requirements in a regulated firm

• Strong knowledge of liquidity planning, cash management and month-end accounting

• Superior communication skills

• Exposure/experience working with a CBI regulated EMI/payments firm advantageous
