Senior Accountant (Payments)

​EMPOWERMENT have partnered with an EMI-regulated firm in Dublin who is seeking a Senior Accountant to join their finance team. Reporting to the CFO, this person will work with the existing finance team and their outsourced finance provider in diverse roles, that will touch all elements of the finance function.

Responsibilities:

• Take responsibility for day-to-day banking tasks by managing accounts and carrying out payments across several European banks

• Assist in the preparation of monthly reporting packs for Board and Management teams and complete Regulatory report returns

• Assist in year-end audit

• Work closely with the “Internal” outsourced partners in Europe to meet tight reporting deadlines

• Involvement in a variety of ad-hoc projects including process improvement initiatives

The Person:

• Fully or nearly qualified Accountant – ACA/ ACCA, ideally, previous Audit Manager Top 10 firm

• Ability to use initiative with excellent interpersonal & communicaton skills

• High level excel user- experience with VB an advantage

• Strong experience in financial reporting
